Francoise Pascal star of the hit ITV series 'Mind Your Language' returns to the London stage in 'My Wife fell in Love with a Life Size Cardboard Cutout of Ronan Keating' (already dubbed a 'Snow-Flake Killer' - GBTV)

Francoise' co-stars feature the best in entertainment: Peter Sellers, Flora Robson, Patrick Mower, Raquel Welch, Peter Cushing, Goldie Hawn, Tony Britton, Yootha, Joyce, Jack Hawkins, Diana Dors, Patrick Mcnee, Rula Lenska, Philip Madoc, Timothy West, Jenny Hanley, Curt Jurgens and even The Rolling Stones - all before her 30th birthday! Francoise' TV work has covered every genre from 'Coronation Street' to 'The Dick Emery Show' and 'Happy Ever After' with June Whitfield and Terry Scott who taught her everything about comedy to heavy dramas such as 'The Brothers' and 'Don Quixote' with Rex Harrison.
Her celebrity status confirmed with regular guest appearances on National TV including Terry Wogan's 'Blankety Blank' on BBC1 and Bob Monkhouse on 'Celebrity Squares' on ITV. Francoise has broadened her industry involvement over the last decade as a producer and creator. It took a very special script to bring her back on stage as an actor. She commented:
'How on earth could you resist reading a script titled 'My Wife fell in Love with a Life Size Cardboard Cut-Out of Ronan Keating'. After just a few pages I was hooked. PT Rose has written an irreverent, funny, smart and very NOW tale. It takes pot shots at almost every topic and sacred cow - literally. I reached the part of a character called 'Pearl'. A silver surfer, Great Grandma, a biker, Elvis fan and wears a sparkly turban instead of a crash helmet - she has seen and done it all. My agent contacted Karen Struel-White offering my services as 'Pearl' ..and a desire to co-produce. The show opens on November 5th at the Drayton Arms Theatre, London. Be ready for fireworks.....'
WHAT IS THE PLAY ABOUT: A Clown has completed a college degree in mysticism, those close to him sneer at its usefulness in the real world. HIs partner suffers abandonment issues while her mother and grandmother battle over the merits of Bowie against Presley and the daughter has her own tussle with gender identity, Buddhism and eating fads. A recent convert to Islam pops up to offer his views on fate while an Elvis impersonator takes notes and a full-size cardboard cutout of Ronan Keating silently observes. The script features adult language and themes, misplaced loyalty, shallow celebrity culture and delusion.
